Work in progress…Crocheting Granny Square baby blankets for Cranio Care Bears. Yellow like Springtime Daffodils!    

Something good…

I had to remind myself to breathe…just breathe  as I watched the elections. I am grateful to be able to practice my hobby of Crochet. I brought out my Christmas colored yarn and stitched like crazy making these. Something good came out of that night after all: Christmas baby hats – for a local Hospital maternity

WIP new project

The ladies of my Stitch & Bitch are working a Valentine’s Day project making Lap-ghans for the Veterans at the Montrose Nursing Home. So, this is my work in process – I’m using a K hook, chain 89 (working the length across)  for: 27″ x 44″.  I’m doing a hdc with dc on the border

On my hooks: Working on the Midnight Run project my Stitch & Bitch is making items for. Everyone seems to love Camo and the half double crochet is coming along nicely using this large K hook. Glad to be able to make more items for men too. I tend to have loads of great yarn

V = Veterans…

Considering Veterans Day is this coming Friday the timing is perfect to start a new Knit & Crochet project. So, my Stitch & Bitch has decided to take on a new mission this year for our local Veterans… “Valuing Our Veterans” – “we love our Vets, today & always” in time for Valentine’s Day 2012.
