First weekend of Fall!!
They’re filming CBS TV show, ‘Bulls’ here in downtown White Plains, NY. A lot of extras hanging out and a fake ice cream stand. 🙂 I acquired a mini stash of this beautiful yarn. Feeling blessed. I’m going to knit a cowl. Maybe fingerless with the Purple.

Happening this weekend: Outdoor Art Festival weekend
We lucked out with beautiful weather today (rain expected tomorrow though). A lot of people and many families came out to enjoy. I brought a small WIP with me and “crocheted in public” while listening to the folksy/jazz band play. The art work is exquisite – paintings, handbags, jewelry, stained glass, accessories, etc. I came homeContinue reading “Happening this weekend: Outdoor Art Festival weekend”

Together we’ve done a lot…
I’ve done a lot of crocheted items: hats, scarves, cowls, lapghans, and fingerless gloves for our charity projects. Added together my Stitch & Bitch donated in excess of 200 stitched items. I am grateful as a group could offer so much. On my #8 needles today is a sunny, lighter weight baby blanket (forContinue reading “Together we’ve done a lot…”
